OOTD: Pink

Trousers - Zara
Jacket - H&M
Top - Band Merch
Shoes - Vans
Bag - Primark

Yes, I'm wearing pink. This blush pink colour seems to be everywhere at the minute. I usually avoid buying something that every man and his dog has (cause I'm such a massive hipster obvs, lol) because it just makes me feel uncreative and like I look like everyone else. If that makes any sense at all. Anyway, these trousers are just beauts. I went back and got them in navy and white polka dot too. I love anything with a tie waist, it's hard to find something that perfectly fits my waist (small person problems DO EXIST) and these fit like a dream thanks to the tie. Zara is just perfection this autumn.

OOTD: Dungarees

10:01

Top - French Connection
Dungarees - Topshop
Bandana - New Look
Shirt - The Whitepepper

I'm back, again. I can't believe I haven't posted about dungarees before. They might be my ultimate item of clothing, eveeeeer. I have these and two dungaree dresses, they just make me feel like I've made an effort with my outfit even though I've just shoved an old shirt on underneath. This outfit pretty much sums me up. No colour, stripes and trainers. I have been venturing out into a little more colour recently but only as exciting as baby pink lolz. Maybe one day I'll venture out of monochrome!  My plan was to blog loads over summer but clearly that didn't happen. My bad. I go back to uni in 2 weeks so hopefully I'll have a few more exciting things to share.

OOTD: Mesh

Crop - Primark
Smock - The Ragged Priest
Jeans - Topshop
Shoes - Nike Janoski
Shirt - The Whitepepper

Long time no outfit post, again. I must start every OOTD post with that sentence, I do apologise. So, this mesh smock top is my new obsession. It just goes perfectly over a cropped vest top. The shirt I'm wearing is actually a dress from The Whitepepper but I've been wearing it as a jacket, with a few comments saying I look like I'm leaving for Hogwarts, thanks guys. Although it is June, almost July the weather here is shit. So this is a summer outfit for me right now, it was just warm enough to have bare arms for once.
Let me know what you think!

Trousers - Loving Youth (not online but here is their instagram @lovingyouthlabel)
Shoes - ASOS
Top - Gift
Hat - Topshop
Coat - Primark

Super rubbish photos today for a quick post! I've wanted some tartan trousers even since I was about 10 and the girl in this video by Bowling for Soup was wearing some(this one) Yep, I'm lame and forever an emo kid. Well I finally got some, a little more tasteful than the ones in the video but ya know, I'm 21 now, gotta be all adult and shit. These are Loving Youth, the vintage brand that is stocked in Topshop stores. Also, please note that I am wearing shoes that are not trainers....I'm finally dressing slightly more like a girl, slightly.

                                                                   Dress - Zara (Here)
Shoes - Converse (Here)
Jacket - Monki (Similar Here)
Scarf - Vintage

Believe it or not but I hate where I live. Even though as you can see from the photos, it is super pretty. This seemed like a good idea but I forgot that Converse are literally THE coldest shoes in the world, bad idea. I'd had my eye on this dress on the Zara website for ages, but of course they didn't have my size online. BUT I FOUND ONE IN LEEDS AHHH. Happy times. I think it will look so cute in summer with some sandals. It's amazing but it is also THE most difficult item of clothing to get in and out of, tiny buttons and acrylic nails do not mix well!

My Winter Essentials

08:16

I'm not a big fan of Winter, at all. I love the thought of winter, but when it actually comes around I hate it! I'm not a fan of constantly shivering, slipping over on ice and getting ear ache from the wind. So for you fellow winter loathers here is my list of winter essentials to cope in the frost!

Candles
I'm a big sucker for a festive scented candle in winter. Can't beat the cinnamon and apple scent mmmmm. Lighting up a few candles in the evening can really light up the room and give a warm feel, which I need as much warmth as possible!

The Coat
One of the only things I do enjoy about the cold months is choosing my winter coat! I sometimes feel that a coat can ruin an outfit, so it takes me ages to find the perfect one. This year I've gone with the Camel Cocoon Coat from Missguided. I AM IN LOVE. I got this in the Black Friday sales which seems to have suddenly become a thing in the UK (not complaining!) and is one of my favourite purchases this year. I literally feel like a giant warm teddy bear. It's oversized shape is really flattering and looks great with my favourite scarf at the moment too(see below for more on that!)
The coat is still available online here: http://www.missguided.co.uk/catalog/product/view/id/125606/s/lena-cocoon-sleeve-coat-camel/

The Scarf
As seen in the photo above, another great investment I've made this month is this amaaaaazing tartan scarf from Primark for only £5! It's actually wide enough to wear as a dress if you so wished, or use as a picnic blanket lolz. It's literally THE warmest scarf ever and keeps that bitter wind at bay.

The Shoes
My favourite winter shoes are also my favourite summer shoes. The weather here in summer means you can wear trainers in summer. I bought these Vans Sk8-hi's in summer time and they have barely come off my feet since and I'm so glad I can wear them through to winter. They're soooooo warm and also have enough room spare for two pairs of socks haha. I lurrrrrve them. I bought these off Depop for £25 which is such a bargain. (If you have depop I have a ton of stuff for sale on mine, search "frunkkkawaii")

What are your winter essentials?
Keep warm, speak soon!
