What I Ate In Prague (VEGAN)

03:56

I recently went to Prague with my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday earlier this month. I can honestly say it is one of the best cities I've been to, especially for vegan food. We are both vegan so I did some research before on where to eat and there are SO MANY places. I think we managed to get to every one apart from one, which isn't bad as we were only there for 3 days.
Instead of going through what I ate each day I'll just tell you about each place we went to and what we ordered, as you'll notice we went back to one particular cafe every single day haaaa.

Moment Cafe

"Scrambled Eggs" & Bagel Seitan and Cheese
 Pancakes
Waffles & yes, another seitan bagel....they were so good
Cheesecake(Can't remember the flavour, sorry!) & Strawberry Cake

We came here every single day around breakfast/early lunch time we loved it that much. I could not stop dreaming of the seitan bagel. It was honestly incredible. The best meal we had their I think we can safely agree on was the pancakes. I felt kinda sick afterwards, I was bloated, but who cares. BEST PANCAKES EVER. They are also dog friendly in Moment so you get to look at cute puppers whilst eating your food, what more could you want? I also recommend trying their smoothie, so delicious.

Vegan's Prague

 Hot Chocolate
Again, can't remember what this cake was but it was a cheesecake!
Coconut Curry with Jasmine Rice

I believe this place was previously called a different name. It is near Prague Castle so after the trek up there it was good to know there was somewhere we could eat. I think this was probably the best meal we had whilst we were in Prague. The curry was amazing, one of the nicest vegan curries and I wish I could have bought some home with me. The hot chocolate was basically melted chocolate as well, perfect.

Etnosvet

BBQ Burger

This restaurant happened to be over the road from our hotel. It is a Vegetarian/Vegan restaurant. We turned up a little too late in the evening so we could only have one option off of the vegan menu, but it turned out to be really good. The "burger" was actually a giant mushroom smothered in BBQ sauce which was amazing. Also, ice tea with cinnamon is a 10/10.

We also went to Loving Hut, which is a vegan all you can eat Vietnamese buffet. I didn't get chance to take a photo as I pretty much inhaled the food....soz.

Hope this helps anyone who is off traveling to Prague this year!

What I Wore: Malta

03:13

This year I went on my first "winter holiday", early November is basically winter in the UK because it is freezing. Me & my boyfriend spent a week in Malta and it was so nice, even if we did have a thunderstorm for two days. (We spent those two days bowling, he claims he won but actually I am the better bowler ;) )

Here are a few of the outfits I wore! (Items are linked if still available)

Bardot

Dress - ASOS
Sandals - ASOS
Bag - Lush

I wore this for our first day of exploring and I ended up wearing it about 4 more times....I LOVE THIS DRESS.

Stripe

Dress - ASOS
Shoes - Stan Smith (No they're not vegan, yes I am vegan, they're old minging shoes so I took them on holiday as it didn't matter if they got filled with sand)
Sunglasses - Primark

Again this dress ended up being worn a few times. It's so cute. These photos were taken at an abandoned hotel on the tiny island of Comino. We weren't even supposed to go there but the boat trip from hell took us there. That trip is a whole blog post in itself. I feel like I could take this into winter with a black high neck long sleeve top underneath maybe?

Palm

Bikini - ASOS (Top & Bottom)

If it wasn't obvious already my whole holiday wardrobe was pretty much from ASOS. I'm a little addicted. It's one of the only places that does clothes in my size (a blog post about this is currently being written) I actually got two bikinis but only got a photo of this one! Plus its now in the sale so if you like it, be quick!

Mdina

Dunagree Dress - Primark
Hoodie - ASOS
Shoes - Converse

Not the best photo but this was my staple outfit for the few rainy cold days we had. Which basically meant stealing my boyfriends hoodie (soz bae) Here I am holding 3 bags of Hummus crisps infront of the perfect Instagram door obvs.

Also if I actually have any readers you may notice the new layout. 4 hours of HTML hell later we have the perfect minimal blog design. Let me know what you think!

My Trip to Amsterdam

13:12

On the 14th September I went to Amsterdam for the week. We got the coach to Amsterdam, and I would NOT recommend it. It took 15 hours and it was just awful, but it was so worth it when we got there. It is such a surreal place. It doesn't have that busy city vibe like London or Paris but it certainly isn't lacking in character. We spent pretty much everyday walking around and exploring.

On the first full day I knew what I wanted to do, which was go to Monki. Anyone who knows me knows that this is my shop, I LOVE MONKI. And it didn't disappoint, I could have bought everything in there ahhhhhhh. I was actually very good and only let myself buy one thing. I'll be doing an outfit post soon! Also this is probably THE best place for vintage shops. When I go back I would set one day just for hunting through the vintage shops as there is so many, you could spend hours in there!

We then went to see one of my favourite bands, Basement. They were supporting Brand New at the Melkweg. I think I could watch Basement everyday they were incredible and worth a 15 hour journey to watch. Having not really been a fan of Brand New I was surprised at how much I liked their set, their stage presence is insane, soooo good. (Go listen to Basement you won't regret it )

If you're going to Amsterdam anytime soon I would say the best museum to check out is the Museum of Prostitution. It was the most interesting one we went too and wasn't that expensive! I was quite surprised ha ha. I'd have loved to have gone to the Van Gogh museum but we ran out of time booooo.

I would so recommend Amsterdam if you're looking for a good city break with a lot of walking around and exploring! I will definitely be going back one day. The people are so friendly and welcoming wherever you go in Amsterdam and its such a pretty place. I felt like I was in a Sims 3 town or something.
